Yichang Zhongnan Precision Steel Tube Co., Ltd. was established in November 2003 and is located at Ziyang Road, Dianjun District, Yichang City. It is jointly invested and constructed by Zhongnan Equipment Co., Ltd. of China State Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Group Corporation and Shidali Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and is a state-controlled enterprise.

In November 2003, the foundation stone of Yichang Zhongnan Precision Steel Tube Co., Ltd. was laid;
In November 2004, the office building and factory were completed, and the high-precision cold drawn steel tube production equipment was put into operation in the five provinces of Central South China, and the company entered the trial production stage; In 2005, the company built 2 precision drawing production lines and 4 straightening production lines, and the products were sold to Shandong, Gansu, Jiangsu, Henan, Chengdu, Hunan and other places. At the same time, the company employed more than 100 laid-off workers, demobilized soldiers, and Three Gorges Reservoir area immigrants; In June 2006, the company passed the ISO9001:2000 quality management system; In 2007, the company's application was officially accepted by the National Intellectual Property Administration, opening the way for corporate independent innovation and technological innovation; From 2009 to 2011, the second plant gradually added stepwise quenching and tempering production lines, hot expansion production lines, ultrasonic eddy current dual detection equipment, and large tonnage (1600 tons) cold drawing production lines, realizing the industrialization and scaling development of cold drawn steel tubes.
In March 2013, the company completed the export business to the United States, valued at 130,000 yuan.
In April 2013, the company obtained the PED certificate, obtaining the permit to export products to the European market;
In December 2014, the company obtained the Special Equipment Manufacturing License issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. Certificate number: TS271006H-2018
In June 2015, the company obtained supplier code A4429C0 from Caterpillar Company, and obtained the DNV factory certificate in September 2015.
In 2016, the company participated in the formulation of the national standard "Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Equipment Cold Drawn or Cold Rolled Precision Seamless Steel Tubes (GB/T32957-2016)".
At the beginning of the 2020 epidemic, as a supplier of the Sanli Group, the company began production and insisted on production at the end of February, becoming one of the earliest enterprises in the Dianjun District to resume production and operation.
In 2021, the company won the title of "Hidden Technology Mini Giant" and "Provincial Specialized and New" Mini Giant in the differentiated field of pillar industries in Hubei Province.

On February 9, 2022, the company successfully completed the reform, achieved private ownership, absorbed natural person investment, and increased the registered capital to 30 million yuan. In March 2022, the company will increase investment, purchase 118 acres of land, and plan to invest 1 billion yuan to deploy the Central South Precision relocation and expansion project. In November 2023, the new company completed the relocation, the registered capital increased by 1 billion yuan, and the digital transformation was realized, with the expected output value to increase by 10 billion yuan.
