Yichang Zhongnan Precision Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. was established in November 2003, located on Ziyang Road, Dianjun District, Yichang City. It was jointly invested and built by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Zhongnan Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shideli Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. It is a state-owned holding enterprise.

In November 2004, the office building and factory building were completed, and a high-precision cold drawn steel pipe production equipment was launched in the five provinces of central and southern China. The company was put into trial production; In 2005, we achieved 2 precision extraction lines and 4 straightening production lines, and our products were exported to Shandong, Gansu, Jiangsu, Henan, Chengdu, Hunan and other places. At the same time, we resettled local laid-off workers, retired soldiers, and more than 100 immigrants from the Three Gorges Reservoir area; In June 2006, the company passed the ISO9001:2000 quality management system; In 2007, the company's application was officially accepted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, opening the way for independent research and technological innovation of enterprises; From 2009 to 2011, the second branch gradually added a step by step quenching and tempering production line, a hot expansion production line, ultrasonic eddy current dual detection equipment, and a large tonnage (1600 tons) cold drawing production line, achieving the industrialization and scale development of cold drawn steel pipes.
In March 2013, the export business to the United States was completed with a value of RMB 130000.

At the beginning of 2020, during the epidemic, the company served as a supplier for Sany Group. The company started production at the end of February and persisted in production, making it one of the enterprises that resumed work early in the Dianjun District.
In 2021, it was awarded the titles of "Invisible Technology Little Giant" and "Provincial Specialized and New" Little Giant "in the sub sectors of pillar industries in Hubei Province.
On February 9, 2022, the company successfully completed its transformation, achieved private enterprise control, absorbed natural person investment, and increased its registered capital to 30 million yuan. In March 2022, the company will increase investment and purchase 118 acres of land, with an expected investment of 1 billion yuan, to layout the Zhongnan Precision Relocation and Capacity Expansion Project.
